THE SPEECH ISN’T A DOCUMENT.
A speech can look perfectly good on a screen and feel completely different when you stand up and actually say it. Where do you breathe? Which jokes need space? Which bits sound like you — and which suddenly sound like somebody else’s writing? We get it off the page, hear what is really there and work from that.
Your voice changes the words.

Strip away phrases you’d never actually say and find a version that belongs in your mouth, not just on the page.

Timing, pauses and knowing when not to rush onto the next line.

LOSE THE WAFFLE.
Find what the speech actually needs and what can safely disappear.
PRACTISE THE ROOM.
Stand up. Say it. Get used to having somebody listen. Then do it again.
The difference is in saying it out loud.

We can look at the words where they need looking at — but the real work is getting you comfortable saying them. This isn’t about turning you into a performer. It’s about helping you stand up, connect with the room and tell the story properly.
